Ghanaian rapper Koo Ntakra who was part of the featured artistes on Sarkodie’s Trumpet song has divulged that he wasn’t paid for that feature.

The rapper known and appreciated for his Akuapim lyrical prowess acknowledged that, even though he wasn’t paid, the mileage and street cred he’s gotten for the past 7 years because of the song is immeasurable.

“Sarkodie didn’t pay me for the Trumpet song, but the opportunities the song gave me is more than any amount he would have given. It has been 7 years since the song was released but anywhere I go in Ghana to perform, they won’t me leave the stage if I don’t perform that song. Even if Sarkodie gave me 20 billion cedis, I don’t think it would have been enough as compared to the mileage and street credibility I’ve gotten with the song,” he said in interview on DL FM.
