Liberian singer, Jzyno, has expressed gratitude and fulfilment after he picked nominations in the “Best African Artiste” category at the recently announced nominees for the 25th edition of Ghana Music Awards.

He is in stiff competition with Burna Boy, Rema, Tyla, Asake and Davido.

The “Best African Artiste” category sees to celebrate the achievements of African artistes who are not Ghanaians.

Showing his fulfillment, he took to his Facebook page to write;

“This is one of the biggest things that ever happened to me all my years in Ghana.

“No one understands how I feel about this nomination.
God makes these things look so easy but mehn, the struggles to get through ain’t for the weak or jokers.
A lot of work has been put in place over the past years. God’s timing and grace, consistency, good productions, good promotions, good connections, etc.
Big one to those that believed in me.

“A very big THANKS to those that have been there from the beginning, my family and friends, and the entire Rula FC.
.
“Thank You Ghana Music Awards for the recognition.
“We are bringing Liberia in the building that night.
Big love to my manager Emma Zawadi, my Team, my brothers Lasmid, BeatzVampire, Dancegod, GigzBeatz, and everyone who made this happen. Love! Leggo Rula FC.

“This is the beginning! Liberian Music has a future and it’s NOW!”

Jzyno had his global hit with a Lasmid-assisted track, Butta My Bread, in 2023. The song also gave Lasmid his only nomination this year (2024) in the INTERNATIONAL COLLABORATION OF THE YEAR category.

The 25th edition of the Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMA) will be held on Saturday, June 1, 2024.
